Curriculum
Trinity Learning Center uses a play-based, developmentally appropriate approach to learning. We teach using a literacy rich environment with hands on activities. Our teachers use the Tennessee Early Learning Development Standards to design activities to help their students reach new milestones. Daily we teach our students social skills and a healthy lifestyle as well as implement a safety curriculum for our children 3 years and up. Teaching children about God’s love is integrated into everything we do. We hope every child leaves our program excited to learn more and knowing how special and loved they are, by us and their Creator.
Our STEAM Lab!!!
At Trinity, we love to let kids explore and go deeper in their creative thinking. Our STEAM lab is one way we do that. 3, 4, and 5-year-old classes have a scheduled visit every week to our STEAM Lab. There are different topics they learn about each week, experiments that await, and a wide range of open-ended play experiences.
After-School Enrichment Activities
In addition to our regular school day fun, we offer enrichment activities where parents can sign their children up for further growth and learning. These activities can change each semester and could include art, dance, music, soccer, basketball, gymnastics, or other extracurricular activities following the regular school day.
Special Events
We have special days throughout the year to allow the children to learn in new ways, show their creativity, and have hands-on experiences that make learning fun. We have special visits from the Fire Department and Police Stations who talk with our kids about safety. We love our in-school science program with the MUSE. At Trinity, there are special activities year-round!
